Regis­tra­ti­on

Regis­tra­ti­on for par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in events must be made in wri­ting. You can make your bin­ding regis­tra­ti­on via this web­site or by e‑mail to mail@nannyakademie.com. Tele­pho­ne regis­tra­ti­ons must be con­firm­ed by us in wri­ting to be valid.

Regis­tra­ti­on confirmation

You will recei­ve a writ­ten con­fir­ma­ti­on of regis­tra­ti­on. Your regis­tra­ti­on data will be stored elec­tro­ni­cal­ly for inter­nal pur­po­ses and not pas­sed on to third par­ties. If an event is ful­ly boo­ked, we will cont­act you imme­dia­te­ly and put you on our wai­ting list.

Par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on fees

Our pri­ces and fees include the sta­tu­to­ry value added tax.

With­dra­wal

You can can­cel your semi­nar boo­king. Plea­se note that we char­ge the fol­lo­wing pro­ces­sing fees:
Can­cel­la­ti­on of semi­nar booking 
- up to 28 calen­dar days befo­re the start of the event: 10 % of the semi­nar fee
- up to the 7th calen­dar day befo­re the start of the event: 50 % of the semi­nar fee
- until the 1st calen­dar day befo­re the start of the event: 100 % of the semi­nar fee .
Even if a regis­tered par­ti­ci­pant does not appear, the full semi­nar fee is due. You are allo­wed to pro­ve that the Nan­ny Aca­de­my has not suf­fe­r­ed any dama­ge at all or that the dama­ge is con­sider­a­b­ly lower than the can­cel­la­ti­on fee clai­med. In the­se cases, you are only obli­ged to pay the actu­al dama­ge incur­red by the Nan­ny Academy.

Repre­sen­ta­ti­on

You can appoint a repre­sen­ta­ti­ve in place of the regis­tered par­ti­ci­pant at any time. This does not incur any cos­ts for you. Ser­vice contents
The semi­nar docu­ments are issued as copy­righ­ted texts and data, flow charts and mate­ri­als. The docu­ments are inten­ded exclu­si­ve­ly for per­so­nal use. Any repro­duc­tion, reprint or trans­la­ti­on and trans­fer to third par­ties, in who­le or in part, is not per­mit­ted wit­hout our express consent.

Sub­ject to change

We are entit­led to make neces­sa­ry orga­ni­sa­tio­nal, metho­do­lo­gi­cal or con­tent-rela­ted chan­ges. This appli­es both befo­re and during the events, as long as the bene­fit for the par­ti­ci­pan­ts is not sub­stan­ti­al­ly impai­red. If neces­sa­ry, we are also entit­led to replace the speaker(s) with other equal­ly qua­li­fied per­sons in the announ­ced sub­ject area.

Can­cel­la­ti­on of events

If semi­nars, cour­ses or events have to be can­cel­led for unfo­re­seeable (for exam­p­le, force majeu­re or sud­den ill­ness of the spea­k­er) or orga­niza­tio­nal reasons (for exam­p­le, too few par­ti­ci­pan­ts), we will of cour­se refund the par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on fees alre­a­dy paid. This does not app­ly to alre­a­dy purcha­sed and boo­ked tickets or hotel boo­kings. We reser­ve the right to can­cel a semi­nar up to four weeks befo­re the semi­nar beg­ins due to insuf­fi­ci­ent participation.

Lia­bi­li­ty

The defi­ned semi­nar goals are achie­va­ble for atten­ti­ve par­ti­ci­pan­ts. Howe­ver, we are not lia­ble for suc­cess. Fur­ther lia­bi­li­ty and com­pen­sa­ti­on claims are excluded, unless the­re is intent or gross negli­gence on our part. This and the abo­ve exclu­si­on of lia­bi­li­ty do not app­ly to dama­ges resul­ting from inju­ry to life, body or health that are based on a negli­gent breach of duty by Chris­tia­ne Mahler-Scharf und Bir­git de Fries GbR or an inten­tio­nal or negli­gent breach of duty by a legal repre­sen­ta­ti­ve or vica­rious agent of Chris­tia­ne Mahler-Scharf und Bir­git de Fries GbR. The lia­bi­li­ty exclu­si­ons also do not app­ly to other dama­ges that are based on a gross­ly negli­gent breach of duty by Chris­tia­ne Mahler-Scharf und Bir­git de Fries GbR or on an inten­tio­nal or gross­ly negli­gent breach of duty by a legal repre­sen­ta­ti­ve or vica­rious agent of Chris­tia­ne Mahler-Scharf und Bir­git de Fries GbR. The lia­bi­li­ty exclu­si­ons also do not app­ly to the vio­la­ti­on of con­trac­tu­al car­di­nal obligations.

Mis­cel­la­neous

The law of the Fede­ral Repu­blic of Ger­ma­ny appli­es exclu­si­ve­ly to this con­tract and its imple­men­ta­ti­on. Even in the event of legal inva­li­di­ty of indi­vi­du­al pro­vi­si­ons, the remai­ning parts of the con­di­ti­ons of par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on shall remain bin­ding. Inef­fec­ti­ve con­di­ti­ons will be repla­ced by such con­di­ti­ons that come clo­sest to the eco­no­mic pur­po­se of the inef­fec­ti­ve ones. Agree­ments devia­ting from this con­tract are only valid if they are agreed in writing.
